Ningbo Fibre Inspection Institute(NFI),subjected to Ningbo Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, is an institutional unit, and directly leaded by Chinese fiber Inspection Bureau and Ningbo Municipal provincial Quality and Technical Supervision and Inspection Institute, was approved to establish, by local government in August 1989,and became independent on January 27th 2003,NFI is the third party impartiality testing institution without any influence, and it takes on civil responsibility independently. Now there are 52 staffs in NFI, in which 34 are engineers and technicians, take the percentage of 65.4,including 3 sr-engineer,8 engineer,1 accountant,1 doctor and 2 master.

     There are seven management departments in NFI, including composite management department, law-execitive department, technical department, business department, market development department, fibre supervision and inspection department and textile testing department. Meanwhile, Nation Supervision and Inspection center (Zhejiang) of Textile and Garment Quality (Ningbo Laboratory) is set up in NFI.

     National Supervision and Inspection centre(Zhejiang) of Textile and Garment Quality is a national quality supervision and testing organization, which professionally inspect the textiles and garment, was approved to establish, and authorized by National General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspect and Quarantine, and CIVCA(Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C).The competence of its laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025,has been accredited, metrological certified, checked and accepted by CNAS. All test reports issued by the center, provided with legal validity, the third party impartiality and technical authority, will be accredited by 36 laboratories in 27 countries including U.S.A, England, German, Austria, Japan, Italy, India etc.
